Companies are starting to recognize the importance of giving employees the time and space they need to navigate personal loss. Our Corporate Funeral Care Program is a modern funeral business providing additional support for grieving employees. We also assist in selecting a funeral home, providing aftercare and community resources, celebrant services, and many other ways to have a low-cost service.
Grief is a natural reaction to death and can be expressed in different ways. Our Corporate Funeral Care Program has one goal – to support employees in a healthy way, which will allow some measure of healing to take place in your life during death. As part of our program, employee and family needs will be met through direct services, workshops, resources, and many other ways to support your grieving employee.
On average, four days are given for the death of a spouse or child, according to the Society for Human Resource Management 2016 Paid Leave in the Workplace Survey. Three days are typically given for losing a parent, grandparent, domestic partner, sibling, grandchild, or foster child. Only one or two days are usually offered for the death of a spouse’s relative or an extended family member (aunt, uncle, cousin). And for the death of a close friend or colleague, most companies don’t extend any bereavement leave.
Green Funerals - We will discuss green funerals, options for green funerals, how to cut costs, and have a personalized funeral service. It is an opportunity for the corporation to show their employees that they are committed to green initiatives and support them through difficult times.
Funerals 101 - We will work with employees in understanding funerals and how to plan a personalized service. It is an opportunity for the corporation to show their employees that they are important and supported even through difficult times.
Coffee & Grief - This is a virtual program for employees to ask questions, learn about the funeral industry, and have an opportunity to hear professionals from the funeral industry. Employees are offered the opportunity to attend and develop ways to honor loved ones.
Widows Do Weave - We will meet and learn how to weave. This program is intended to learn a new craft and start a new path in your grieving process.
