Small Crafts Have a Big Difference
Join us to crochet, knit, or weave to support Liquid Death. Liquid Death is a beverage company with a mission to make people laugh and get more of them to drink more healthy beverages more often, all while helping to kill plastic pollution.
Mourning Thymes will hold an annual virtual craft event to raise money for young widows. And we want YOU to join us!
Liquid Death is natural mountain water served in ice-cold infinitely recyclable cans with a mission to make people laugh and get more of them to drink more healthy beverages more often, all while helping to kill plastic pollution.
We are calling all crafters, novice or experienced, to crochet/knit small hats or weave small sweaters. Every hat or coaster created will help support widows and zero-waste initiatives.
With each Liquid Death purchased 10 cents will support young widows.

Row 1: work 3 dcs in second chain, turn
Row 2: 1dc, 2dcs in next st, 1dc, turn (4sts)
Row 3: 1 dc in each st
Row 4: 2dc in next st, 1 dc in next 2 sts, 2dc in next st, turn
(6sts)
Row 5: 1 dc in each st
Row 6: 2dc in next st, 1 dc in next 4 sts, 2dc in next st, turn
(8sts)
Row 7: 2dc in next st, 1 dc in next 6 sts, 2dc in next st, turn
(10sts)

Fasten off.
To create teeth use white and work 9 dcs evenly down
one side of the jaw, 3dcs in the tip and 9dcs up the other
side of the jaw, fasten off

Round 1: With blue work 28 dcs evenly around the top of
the jaws.
Rounds 2-5: work 1 dc in each sts (28sts)
Round 6: *1 dc in next 5 sts, dc2tog, repeat to the end of
the round (24sts)
Round 7: 1 dc in each sts
Round 8: * 1 dc in next 4 sts, dc2tog, repeat to the end of
the round (20sts)

Crochet hook: 3.5mm
Hat
Using the magic loop technique make 6dcs into the ring. Join with a ss.
Round 1: ch1 make 2dc in each dc from the previous round. Join with ss (12sts)
Round 2: ch1 , *1 dc, 2dc in next dc, repeat from * to end of the round. Join with ss (18sts)
Round 3: ch1 *1 dc in next 2 dcs, 2dc in next dc, repeat from * to the end
of the round. Join with ss (24sts)
Round 4: ch1, 1 dc, in each dc to the end of the round.
Join with ss.
Repeat round 4, 4 more times.
Fasten off and sew in ends
